  2. Loans and Grants to Local Govt. Councils.
  3. Co-ordination of Development Plan for Local Govt. Councils
  4. Valuation Matters
  5. Market Registration Matters
  6. Training Elected Functionaries and Political Office Holders at Local Govt.
  7. level in collaboration with the Local Govt. Service Commission
  8. Chieftaincy Affairs; including Relations with Council of Emirs
